オーストリアの国営放送ORFは、料理番組で絶滅危惧種の魚をフライにしたことに対して、激怒した漁業関係者からの非難を受け謝罪しました。
Austrian public broadcaster ORF was forced to issue an apology for frying an endangered fish species during a cooking show after a wave of criticism spearheaded by fuming fishers.

その魚は、the Frauennerfling fish （フラウエンナーフリング）で、
a red-listed endangered species in Austria since 2002 on the brink of extinction
シェフは、直前に出演を依頼されたため、友人に魚の調達を頼んだとのこと。
while the chef said he was “terribly sorry” for what had happened, adding that he had “asked a friend to get him some fish” after being asked to make a last-minute appearance on the show.
